The objective in this game is just like other rummy variants. The players have to meld the hand cards into proper sets/sequences and declare for a successful show.

Here’s how to play deals rummy.
Six player deals rummy is played between 6 players where the winner is decided after six deals of rummy. The game would start only after six players are seated in the table. In a 6 player deal rummy (6*80) 480 chips are given to each player. Once the players are seated, and the cards are dealt, the game proceeds in the same manner like all other rummy games. The player who wins a deal gets the chips from their competitors. After the completion of 6 deals, the player who has the maximum number of chips wins the game. In case of a tie, a tie-breaker game is conducted to determine the winner. Because of the adequate time, the player gets to make a comeback, rummy veterans often chose this variant.
Two player deals rummy is played between 2 players where the winner is decided after two deals of rummy. The game would start only after two players are seated in the table. In a 2 player deal rummy (2*80) 160 chips are given to each player participating in the game. After card distribution, the game commences just like other rummy games. At the end of the first deal, the player who wins the deal gets the chips from his opponent and moves to the second deal with an improved score. At the end of the second deal, the player has the most number of chips is declared as a winner. In case of tie, a tie-breaker round is conducted to determine the winner.

A player can pick the card from the open deck or closed deck during his turn
After completing the objective of building sets and sequences, player must place his final card in the finish slot and click on declare. On a successful show, the player obtains the chips from his opponent and moves to the next deal.
The player who has the maximum number of chips at the end of the predetermined number of deals is declared as the winner.
Winning Amount = Total entry fee of all Players – Rake Fee of Deccan Rummy
Example: In a 2-player deal game on Rs. 1000 Table, if player 1 wins the game then he will receive Rs. 2000 – Deccan Rummy Service Fee.
However, in a 6 deal rummy card game, prize amount after the deduction of the rake fee will be splitted in the ratio 60:40 between the winner and the runner-up. If 300 remains as the prize amount after the rake reduction, then winner gets Rs. (300*60/100) =180 and the runner-up would take home Rs. (300-180) =Rs. 120.
